Description
This workshop will be held at the Hut at my home address BH10. Please note the venue has steps so may not be suitable for those that have mobility issues.
In this workshop we will be block printing some fabric to then roll into a 20cm drum lampshade. All materials, paint, and lampshade fittings are included in the price of the workshop. You will just need to bring an apron to cover your clothes as we will be using fabric paint.
The morning will be spent practising block printing, deciding on your final design and then printing it. There will be all my blocks to choose from and lots of different colours – if you have a particular colour in mind please contact me at time of booking so I can ensure I have it. Blocks are animals, flowers, seed heads, beach huts and more. We will be printing on to either a white or cream colour fabric.
We will then have a tea/coffee and biscuit break and clear away the printing items and then we will roll our lampshades, where I will give you advice on this to get best results.
This workshop is limited to 3 spaces. Tea/coffee and biscuits are also included.
