Description
This workshop will be held at the Hub on the Heath, Adastral Square Canford Heath.
This is an all day workshop where we will be block printing some fabric to then roll into a 20cm drum lampshade. All materials, paint, and lampshade fittings are included in the price of the workshop. You will just need to bring an apron to cover your clothes as we will be using fabric paint. Please note we will be printing onto a cream colour fabric.
The morning will be spent practising block printing, deciding on your final design and then printing it. There will be all my blocks to choose from and lots of different colours – if you have a particular colour in mind please contact me at time of booking so I can ensure I have it. Blocks are animals, flowers, seed heads, beach huts and more.
We will then have a ‘crafternoon tea’ (a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and hot drink) provided by the cafe.
Once we have re-fuelled we will then roll our lampshades – again full led with hints and tips to get the best results.
This workshop is limited to 5 spaces.
