Online workshop via zoom over two Saturday mornings.
We will be making a custom size cover for your sewing machine or overlocker – techniques include quilting, piping and using bias binding to finish the edges.
This cover is a loose cover rather than a carry bag.
As you may want the fabric to match existing sewing room decor (if you are lucky enough to have one) I am not going to supply fabric for this project, I will be able to supply components tho – fusible fleece, Cord and bias binding (various colours available). If you need these please choose this at checkout.
You will need approx. one metre of fabric ( you can use two fabrics as shown in the workshop picture), and one metre of lining fabric.
The first session will be measuring your sewing machine, and working out the size pieces you need. We will then cut the fabric and begin quilting. If you haven’t finished quilting in the workshop you will need to make sure this is finished by the second session.
The second session will be assembling the pieces and adding the piping and the finishing touches.
